Adult orthodontics in Valencia: options that fit your life
Whether this is your first treatment or your teeth have shifted since braces, start with the health of your teeth and the changes you want to make.

Adults come to orthodontics for different reasons: teeth that have shifted, a bite that feels awkward, or a smile they have wanted to change for years. At SC Orthodontics in Valencia, we help adults throughout Santa Clarita start with an examination and a conversation about their goals.
Am I too old for braces or aligners?
Age alone does not settle the question. The health of your teeth, gums, and supporting tissues matters. The American Association of Orthodontists explains why existing dental disease and previous dental work belong in the assessment.
Tell us about crowns, implants, missing teeth, planned dental work, or a history of gum treatment. Bring recent records if you have them. Your orthodontist and dentist may need to coordinate the order of care before tooth movement begins.
Fitting treatment around work
SC Orthodontics is open Sunday through Friday, 8 AM to 7 PM. Sunday and evening appointments give you more options when planning around work or family commitments. Invisalign Virtual Care may be used for some check-ins when appropriate; your plan will still include the in-person visits you need. For a relocation during active care, our guide to switching orthodontists during treatment explains what to arrange with both offices.
If your work involves frequent calls or presentations, our Invisalign speech guide suggests questions to discuss before treatment and ways to prepare for speaking-heavy days.
What to ask at your consultation
- What can treatment change, and are there limits I should understand?
- Does any dental or gum care need to happen first?
- What is the expected timeline, and what could change it?
- What will the treatment fee include, and what is the retainer plan afterward?
Already have dental restorations? Our guide to braces with crowns or implants explains which details to bring and what to ask about coordinating care.
The consultation is free and includes an evaluation, necessary records, and a written plan. See fees and financing or book a free consultation to discuss your options.
