Castaic sits where the Santa Clarita Valley meets the Grapevine: the lake, the Old Road, and neighborhoods tucked into the hills on both sides of the I-5. Hasley Hills, Northlake, Hillcrest, and the ranch properties of Hasley Canyon each have their own feel, and all of them are about ten minutes from our door. Head south on the I-5, exit at Magic Mountain Parkway, and we are the first turn.

Castaic Lake is the biggest thing in town and one of the largest recreational reservoirs in the State Water Project. The Upper Lake is for boats and bass fishing; the Lower Lake and its lagoon have the swim beach, paddleboards, and the Friday splash sessions kids look forward to all summer. Above it all stands the 425-foot Castaic Dam.
A morning adjustment and an afternoon at the lagoon is a reasonable Sunday. The lake and our office are about fifteen minutes apart on the I-5.
