Checked before your first visitSend your card ahead

Verified before you arrive. Maximized before you decide.

We verify your orthodontic benefit ahead of your consultation, so you arrive knowing your number. You leave with the insurance estimate written next to the fee.

Common questions

Fees, answered.

Anything else, call or text. You will hear back the same day.

  • Invisalign runs from $4,000 to $7,100 depending on how much correction your case needs and how long it takes. Short cases of 6 to 10 months are $4,000 to $5,400, a standard case of 12 to 16 months is $6,000, and complex cases of 18 months or more are $6,600 to $7,100. Braces run about $1,500 less than the Invisalign fee for the same case. Early treatment for children is $3,500 to $5,000. Your exact fee is quoted at your free consultation, before you decide.

  • Two things happen with most PPO dental plans. First, the Invisalign fee is capped at your plan’s rate, about $700 below the standard fee, so a standard case is about $5,300 instead of $6,000. Then your plan pays its lifetime orthodontic benefit, usually $1,000 to $2,000, toward that capped fee. With a $1,500 benefit, a standard Invisalign case comes to about $3,800 out of pocket, financed at 0%. We verify your coverage before your first visit, so you arrive knowing your number.

  • With most PPO dental plans, the braces fee is capped at up to $5,000, and your plan then pays its lifetime orthodontic benefit, usually $1,000 to $2,000, toward it. A complex case, for example, is $5,600 without insurance; with a PPO plan it is capped at $5,000, and with a $1,500 benefit comes to about $3,500 out of pocket, financed at 0%. Without insurance, braces run $2,500 to $3,900 for a short case, $4,500 for a standard case, and $5,100 to $5,600 for a complex one. We verify your plan before you arrive and put the exact number in writing.

  • Two patients can want the same result and need very different amounts of tooth movement to get there. The fee follows the complexity of the case, which is also what sets the timeline. The consultation replaces the range with your exact number.

  • Financing is in-house at 0%, and plans start at $125 a month. The amount depends on your total fee, your down payment, and the plan length: a $4,500 braces case with $500 down over 32 months is $125 a month, and a $6,000 Invisalign case about $170. There is no credit check and no third-party lender.

  • Your visits and adjustments, emergency care, necessary X-rays and digital scans, and your first set of retainers. If your treatment needs more time, it is included.

  • The braces fees on this page are for metal braces. Ceramic, LightForce, InBrace, and Damon braces are quoted by case at your consultation, and whichever you choose is part of the single fee you are quoted before you decide.

  • Your first set of retainers is included in your treatment fee. If a retainer is later lost or worn out, the replacement is quoted separately at the time. If an existing retainer still fits, we say so rather than replace it.

  • It works in two steps. With a PPO plan, the fee is first capped at your plan’s fee schedule. Then your plan pays a lifetime orthodontic benefit toward that capped fee, usually $1,000 to $2,000; it is written as a maximum and a percentage, and the plan pays whichever is less, so $2,000 up to 50% means $2,000 in total. The insurer pays in installments across treatment rather than all at once, so coverage needs to stay active until treatment is complete. About half of dental plans have no orthodontic coverage at all; if yours does not, the standard fees on this page apply and 0% financing spreads them across treatment. We verify all of this before your first visit.

  • Most major PPO dental plans, including Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, Delta Dental, Guardian, Humana, Liberty Dental, MetLife, and United Healthcare, billed on each plan’s fee schedule. Send your card ahead of your visit and we verify your orthodontic benefit before you arrive.

  • Orthodontic benefits are written for orthodontic treatment, not for a particular appliance, so a plan that covers braces covers Invisalign the same way and pays the same lifetime maximum. We confirm this for your specific plan when we verify it before your visit.

  • No. You can book your free consultation directly, and we coordinate with your dentist during treatment. If your particular plan requires a referral for orthodontic benefits, we let you know when we verify it.

  • Insurers pay in installments across treatment, so if coverage ends, the payments stop with it and the remaining balance becomes yours. We re-spread it across your existing 0% plan. If you gain orthodontic coverage part-way through, we file it, and most plans contribute toward the months that remain.

  • Yes. Orthodontic treatment is an eligible expense for Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts, and we provide itemized receipts for reimbursement at any point during treatment.

  • Yes. Your consultation includes the exam, X-rays and digital scans as needed, and a written plan with timing, exact fee, and insurance estimate, whether or not you decide to start.

  • At SC Orthodontics in Valencia, Invisalign runs $4,000 to $5,400 for a short case, about $6,000 for a standard case, and $6,600 to $7,100 for a complex case, before insurance. With a typical PPO plan the fee is often about $700 less, and your plan then pays its orthodontic benefit on top. Your exact fee is quoted at your free consultation.

  • Yes. Financing is in house at 0%, with no credit check and no third-party lender. Plans start at $125 a month, and payments spread across treatment.

  • Metal braces at SC Orthodontics run about $1,500 less than Invisalign for the same case: roughly $2,500 to $3,900 for a short case, $4,500 standard, and $5,100 to $5,600 complex. Insurance verification and 0% financing are included with every plan.
