  Dr. Shadi Haykani personally plans, directs and refines treatment at SC Orthodontics. She remains involved from your first consultation through treatment and retention, rather than only recommending an appliance at the beginning.

  Yes. SC Orthodontics provides care for children, teenagers and adults. Your evaluation considers your teeth, bite, stage of growth and goals. For a growing child, the next step may be observation rather than starting treatment immediately.

  You can discuss braces, Invisalign and Spark clear aligners, early orthodontic treatment and retainers. We also offer additional options for specific needs. Dr. Haykani explains the approaches that are relevant to your evaluation; not every appliance is appropriate for every patient.

  The decision starts with an evaluation of your teeth and bite, not a preference for one brand. Dr. Haykani considers the correction needed, your goals and the practical demands of treatment. Your consultation explains suitable options and why one approach may be recommended over another.

  Yes. Your consultation includes an evaluation, X-rays and digital scans as needed, and a written treatment plan with timing, an exact fee and an insurance estimate. The consultation is complimentary whether or not you decide to start treatment.

  Allow about an hour for your first consultation. That gives us time to evaluate your teeth and bite, review findings, discuss your options and answer questions before you decide what to do next.

  Bring your insurance card, any recent X-rays from your dentist that you have, and your questions. If possible, send your insurance information ahead so we can check your orthodontic benefits before the visit.

  No. The consultation gives you information to make a decision, including the recommended treatment, timing and fee in writing. If your child is not ready for treatment, complimentary observation visits can continue until the timing is appropriate.

  The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a first orthodontic check by age seven. An evaluation does not mean braces must begin then. Dr. Haykani assesses development and explains whether your child needs treatment, monitoring or no treatment at that stage.

  Published fees before insurance are $2,500–$5,600 for metal braces and $4,000–$7,100 for Invisalign. Your fee depends on the treatment and correction needed. Other bracket types are quoted individually. Your free consultation provides an exact written fee; the Fees & Financing page explains the current ranges and payment options.

  Your treatment fee includes orthodontic visits and adjustments, orthodontic emergency visits, necessary X-rays and digital scans, and your initial set of retainers. Your written plan explains the treatment being provided. Replacement retainers are quoted separately if they are needed later.

  Yes. Send your insurance information before the consultation and we will check the applicable benefits and provide an estimate alongside your treatment fee. Coverage depends on your policy, eligibility and remaining benefits; having dental insurance does not automatically mean orthodontic treatment is covered.

  Yes. SC Orthodontics offers monthly payment plans at 0%. Your monthly payment depends on the total fee, down payment and payment-plan length. We explain the proposed payment arrangement with your written treatment fee before you decide to begin.

  Yes. Our published office hours are Sunday through Friday, 8 AM to 7 PM; we are closed Saturday. Sunday and evening appointments are available, with your specific appointment time confirmed by the team.

  Request a consultation online, or call or text (661) 425-0559. New patients are usually seen within the week, including Sundays and evenings. The team confirms your appointment; submitting a preferred time is a request, not a confirmed booking.

  When helpful, appointments for family members can be coordinated together. Tell us who needs care and which days work for your family so the team can discuss available scheduling options.

  Dr. Haykani provides an estimated timeline after evaluating your teeth, bite and treatment needs. The amount of correction and the recommended approach affect that estimate. Your consultation explains the expected timing alongside your options and fee rather than relying on a single timeline for everyone.

  If a bracket breaks, a wire is poking or another orthodontic concern develops during treatment, call or text the office. SC Orthodontics promises a same-day response to orthodontic emergencies, and orthodontic emergency visits are included in your treatment fee. A same-day response does not necessarily mean a same-day appointment.
