Orthodontic insurance in Valencia: braces and Invisalign
Accepting your insurer and having coverage for your treatment are separate questions. Check the details of your specific plan before you start.

SC Orthodontics works with most major PPO dental plans. To understand what yours may contribute, we need to check the specific policy, your eligibility, and the treatment being considered.
Plans we work with
The practice accepts PPO plans from insurers including Delta Dental, Aetna, Cigna, MetLife, Guardian, Anthem, United Healthcare, Humana, and Liberty. A familiar insurer name alone does not establish coverage or in-network status for every plan. Share your card when you book so the team can check your details.
Does dental insurance cover Invisalign?
It may, if your policy includes orthodontic benefits and the proposed treatment qualifies. Invisalign’s payment guidance explains that dental plans may contribute a percentage or a specified amount, depending on coverage. The brand name alone does not establish your benefit.
Ask whether the plan covers the proposed aligner treatment, whether an age restriction applies, and how much benefit remains. At SC Orthodontics in Valencia, patients across Santa Clarita receive an insurance estimate alongside the treatment fee. Your policy and eligibility determine the insurer’s payment.
Which benefits should be checked?
- Whether the policy includes orthodontic benefits for this patient.
- Any waiting period, age limit, deductible, or remaining lifetime maximum.
- The percentage or amount the plan may pay for the proposed treatment.
- Whether this office is in network for the exact plan.
- How a change in eligibility or coverage could affect later payments.
The Delta Dental member FAQs explain why these benefits must be checked for the individual policy. Its orthodontic benefits guide directs patients to their own plan documents for limitations and exclusions, including coverage for aligners and treatment already in progress.
Read the estimate alongside the fee
At the consultation, you receive the treatment fee and an insurance estimate. The estimate helps you compare your expected share, but the insurer determines payment under the policy and your eligibility. Ask which figures are confirmed and which remain estimates.
Planning for your remaining cost
SC Orthodontics offers in-house 0% financing. The monthly amount depends on your treatment fee, down payment, and plan length. See fees and financing for current examples.
Tell the team if you may change jobs or insurance during treatment, or if you have more than one dental plan. Those details should be checked before relying on a benefit amount.
Book a free consultation and provide your insurance details so you can discuss the treatment recommendation and costs together.
