Placement and adjustments
Bonded in one visit, adjusted by Dr. Haykani.
Your teeth are cleaned and prepared, the brackets are bonded, and the wire is engaged in each bracket's built-in clip. It is one appointment. Some tenderness for the first few days is normal; the Patient Care guide covers eating and cleaning around brackets.
Damon brackets use a built-in clip to hold the wire instead of elastic ties. At each scheduled visit Dr. Haykani adjusts treatment herself; how often you come in depends on your case. The office is open Sunday through Friday, 8 AM to 7 PM, with Sunday and evening appointments available.
