Old Town Newhall grew up along the railroad in the 1870s and is the oldest part of the city. Main Street runs through its center, with the Walk of Western Stars set into the sidewalks.
Lyons Avenue is Newhall’s main road to the freeway, meeting Interstate 5 on the west side of town and running east toward Old Town.
