The evaluation
Width, bite, teeth and growth, checked first.
Dr. Haykani first evaluates the width of the upper jaw, the bite, the teeth and growth, with X-rays and digital scans included at the free consultation. If expansion is not needed yet, growth can be watched at complimentary observation visits until the timing is right.
Starting the appliance
An appliance and a plan for your case.
If expansion is recommended, the type of appliance and the activation plan depend on the individual case. When an appliance needs adjusting at home, you receive exact instructions for your case before you leave the office.
Active phase and follow-up
Progress checked during treatment.
Progress is checked at follow-up visits during treatment. After active expansion, the appliance may stay in place for a stabilization period; Dr. Haykani explains the timing for your case.
The office is open Sunday through Friday, 8 AM to 7 PM, with Sunday and evening appointments available.
