A TAD is a small temporary orthodontic anchor. Dr. Haykani may recommend one when your treatment plan needs anchorage that the teeth alone cannot predictably provide, and explains whether you need one at the free consultation.
Placement and follow-up
Planned for your case, removed when done.
Placement and follow-up are planned for the individual case, and Dr. Haykani checks the TAD at your treatment visits. It is removed once it is no longer needed. If it feels loose or irritated, call or text the office; orthodontic emergencies get a same-day response.
The office is open Sunday through Friday, 8 AM to 7 PM, with Sunday and evening appointments available.
